New Isis Temple Discovered in Egypt

Exciting news out of Egypt – archaeologists believe that they have found a Ptolemy II-era temple to Isis at Gebel el-Nour. The pictures are not very revealing, and omit why this has been identified as a temple of Isis specifically, but it is a thrilling new find nonetheless. So far, only the Luxor Times Blog seems to be covering this, but we’ll keep an eye out for more information to share as it emerges.
